Author Guidelines

When authors submit their work to be published in this journal, they agree to fulfill all the requirements specified below. Editors review submitted articles to determine whether they meet the purpose and scope of the journal. Those deemed suitable are sent for peer review to determine whether they will be accepted.

Authors are responsible for obtaining legal permissions if their work contains any material that requires permission to be published (photographs, documents, findings, and datasets, etc.). All authors mentioned in the article submitted for publication must acknowledge and declare that they are authors. If the article type requires it, it must be approved by an ethics committee in accordance with the country's legal requirements for the study.

Editors may reject submitted articles without peer review if they do not meet minimum quality standards. Before submitting their articles, authors must ensure that the study design and research argument are properly structured, that they comply with the rules of the language in which they were written, and that they have made the necessary checks. The title should be short, and the abstract should be able to describe the content of the article on its own.

Authors can submit a maximum of 1 application at a time, and no more than 2 applications in a year. There is no word limit for submissions, but it is recommended to keep the work around 25,000 words. Abstracts are expected to be approximately 150 words in length. Manuscripts submitted in Turkish must also include English translations of the title, abstract, and keywords.

Felsefelik follows the Author-Date format of the 18th Edition of The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS)

Authors who meet all these requirements should review the checklist below and correct any deficiencies before applying.
